History and Development Prospects

2014

On January 14, the TLC "Khovrino" was launched - this is the first own terminal of the Group of Companies. On January 26, it received the first train from the port of Ust-Luga.
Since its opening, the terminal has won a leading position on the scale of the entire Central Transport Hub. The area of the TLC is 40 hectares. Technologically, the processing speed of one container train at the terminal does not exceed 8 hours, and its capacity is more than 250 thousand TEU per year.

The TLC works with trains of increased length, and warehouse infrastructure is being developed on its territory. Although the age of the terminal has already exceeded 10 years, it continues to be actively improved, and the importance of the TLC "Khovrino" for the Moscow agglomeration is only growing.

2018

On July 31, 2018, the first stage of the TLC "Elektrougli" was launched. Today it is the largest terminal of the Moscow transport hub. Its annual capacity exceeds 1 million TEU.

TLC "Elektrougli" is the most modern technological solutions and infrastructure, located on an area of 120 hectares. Its integral part has become 30 km of its own railway tracks, 14 exhibition tracks in the accumulation and sorting park, a container yard with a capacity of 25 thousand TEU. Containers arriving at the terminal are serviced by a fleet of 26 reach stackers and 3 top lifts.

Meanwhile, in 2018, TLC "Khovrino" begins to receive regular trains from the port of Bronka (St. Petersburg).

2022

On November 1, the Uralskiy TLC was officially opened. The entire complex of terminal infrastructure, which operates in the format of a "freight village", is located on an area of 130 hectares.

Important components of the terminal infrastructure are an electrified park for receiving and sending full-length container trains, 4 loading and unloading fronts over 1050 m long, a depot for repairing containers and flatcars, and a developed warehouse infrastructure.

In the future, its capacity should be about 600 thousand TEU.

2023

The TLC "Sibirskiy" - a key logistics hub for the entire Siberian region - has been launched. Within the first stage, the terminal's capacity was 300 thousand TEU per year.

The role of the terminal in the implementation of container handling technology in gondola cars cannot be overestimated. It is here that containers are reloaded from gondola cars arriving from the Far East onto fitting platforms, which then follow in the direction of the European part of our country.

The terminal can also service double container trains (up to 142 conventional cars long).

Also in 2023, the construction of 100 thousand square meters of warehouses was launched on the territory adjacent to the TLC "Khovrino".

2024

The second stage of the TLC "Sibirskiy" has been launched. The terminal's capacity has reached 600 thousand TEU. In the future, it will grow to 1 million TEU.

As part of the second stage of the terminal's development, a second container yard, a specialized railway yard for the accumulation and sorting of wagons, and other facilities were built.

Thus, the infrastructure created at the terminal allows providing cargo owners with a full range of logistics services that meet international standards.

It is expected that the TLC "Sibirskiy" will soon become the logistics core of the special economic zone being created. Thanks to it, residents will receive unique competitive advantages associated with tax incentives, low first-mile costs, and proximity to the existing industrial and logistics park.

By the end of 2024, the capacity of the existing TLCs will exceed 2 million TEU per year.

2025

The First Phase of the "Artem" Transport and Logistics Center (TLC) Has Been Launched, Poised to Become the Country's Largest Dry Port

The development of this project will enhance the carrying capacity of the Trans-Siberian Railway, boost export-import and transit cargo flows, and reduce the load on Far Eastern seaports by transferring operations not directly related to cargo transshipment to the TLC.

The TLC construction project incorporates truly unique technological solutions. For instance, the terminal will implement an operational scheme featuring a circular rail movement system, made possible by connecting directly to two stations of the Trans-Siberian Railway. The TLC will also include a wagon repair depot and a classification yard to minimize the time required for train formation and dispatch on designated routes.

The total track length under construction at the terminal will exceed 100 km. The dry port is designed to utilize the technology of loading containers into gondola cars and to handle extended-length container trains.

Furthermore, in July, a new route for container trains with gondola cars to China via Kazakhstan was launched. The "Ural" TLC served as the starting point for this route.
