The Uralsky hub multimodal transport and logistics center will be created in the Sverdlovsk region. The corresponding agreement was signed by the Russian Ministry of Transport, the government of the Sverdlovsk region, Russian Railways and Yekaterinburg Transport Terminal LLC at the Innoprom international industrial exhibition.
"The agreement provides for cooperation between the parties in order to increase the speed and reliability of cargo delivery, reduce the overall level of logistics costs in the economy, realize Russia's transit and export potential, ensure a favorable and stable investment climate in the development of transport, logistics and industrial infrastructure in the Sverdlovsk region as part of the project to create the Uralsky hub multimodal transport and logistics center in the area of the Apparatnaya station of the Sverdlovsk railway," says a statement published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Transport.
